Entries:
All entries here are purely private. For reasons of data protection, only entries of Palm owners are made. Sightings of other private locations Palm are not permitted unless expressly allowed by the owner. Sightings in public areas (traffic circle, public buildings, parks, etc.) are allowed. If you want to enter/marker these public harbitat, please mark only exciting palms.

Usage:
Click short near by your residence. The green marker appears and automatically zooms into the map. To find the exact location - the zoom-slider to the left is very helpful. Alternatively you can be zoomed in with "+" and zoomed out with "-".
How move the map with the mouse? Lead pointer on the map - klick left mouse button continuously - and then move the map with the mouse.
The finishing touches: As the green marker is located far away from your place of residence, take the marker to push it to the exact location of your plant. To 'push' the marker is the same procedure as moving the map before: lead pointer over markers - klick left mouse button continuously - and then move the mouse with the marker. If everything is in place, you have to klick the green marker once shortly and it opens the dialog box. The fields are filled in are pretty self-explanatory. As long as you do not click "Save" everything can be changed - even the green start sliding marker (after closing the input formular).

Save:
After saving, all the data are stored in the database. Anyone who wants to protect the data against unauthorized access, choose a password too (which can also be done later). An absolute requirement is your e-mail address (without e-mail address your data are not stored). If the user data are protected with a password, only you are allowed to edit your record. To be able to see the newly entered data/markers on the map, the page must first be reloaded.  

Changes and-/or deletions:
If you want to change or delete your record (with markers) - nothing simpler than this: Click on your (now) colored markers, and click 'Edit'. After entering your login information you see the editing mode of data. Here you can - updating your data, or - delete your complete record (see the last row of the formular).
